Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tokener CA collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use our website, console, APIs, model routing, billing, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

When you register, sign in, call our services, submit support requests, or contact us, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address, account profile, display name, payment information, communications, and other materials you choose to submit. The display name is a pseudonym you choose; we do not require your legal name.

When you access the website or use the console, APIs, and related services, we may also collect technical information automatically, including IP address, device and browser information, access time, page paths, request logs, error logs, usage volume, token consumption, billing records, and other diagnostic data.

When you use the in-product support chat, we record the conversation: the messages you send, the assistant's replies, the time of each message, the page you were on when you asked, and technical accounting such as token counts and, for paid use, the cost. If you attach a file to a support message, we store only its type and size, not its contents.

We do not store the content of the requests you send through our APIs or the Playground, or the model's responses. For those requests we record only what is needed to bill and operate the service, such as the model, token counts, timing, cost and a request identifier.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect, and improve the services, including account registration and sign-in, access control, billing and settlement, risk control and auditing, model routing, customer support, troubleshooting, analytics, and product optimization.

Where permitted by law, we may also use information to prevent abuse, enforce our agreements, comply with legal obligations, and send important notices related to your account or the services.

Your email address is used to sign you in and to send account emails such as verification links, password resets and billing notices. We do not sell your email address or use it for marketing.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure product performance, and improve your experience.

You can manage or disable these technologies through your browser settings, but doing so may cause some features to stop working properly.

If you use the support chat without signing in, we set a functional cookie named tokener_support_visitor (httpOnly, kept for up to one year) so your anonymous conversation and its free allowance stay together across visits. This cookie is not used to track you across other websites.

4. Support Chat

We use support chat conversations to answer you: your messages are processed by an AI model to generate replies. We also use them so that Tokener staff can follow up when you ask to speak to a person, to review possible misuse, and to improve the service. Tokener staff can read support conversations for these purposes.

When you ask to reach a human, we send an email to Tokener's support inbox containing the recent conversation and the reply-to address you provide.

We keep support conversations for as long as they are needed for support, misuse review, and record-keeping. If you are signed in, you can delete your own conversations from the support page, which removes them from your view; we may retain a copy for misuse review and records as described above. Conversations held anonymously cannot be deleted through the site.

If you choose to continue on your balance after your free allowance is used up, that support usage is billed and recorded like other API usage and appears in your usage and transaction history.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share necessary information with service providers involved in cloud infrastructure, payments, analytics, customer support, security auditing, identity verification, or model supply, only to the extent needed to provide the services.

To generate a response, the content of a request is sent to a third-party model supplier, which processes it to produce the output. By default we send your requests only to suppliers that commit to not storing request content and not using it to train models. In your account settings you can choose to also allow suppliers that have not made that commitment.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, supervisory request, legal process, or government authority, or when disclosure is necessary to protect the lawful rights and interests of the platform, users, partners, or the public.

If we are involved in a restructuring, financing, merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will seek to require the recipient to continue handling the information in accordance with this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, perform contractual obligations, meet legal requirements, and resolve disputes.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise process it appropriately according to business and legal requirements.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information and reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

However, no method of network transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise that information will always be one hundred percent secure.

Account emails are delivered over encrypted (TLS) connections.

8. Your Rights

To the extent provided by applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, object to processing of, withdraw consent for, or receive a copy of your personal information.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

9. Minors

The services are not directed to children or minors under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us without authorization, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps after verification.

10. Cross-Border Processing

Because our platform infrastructure, partners, and service providers may be located in different regions, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries or regions outside your jurisdiction.

When such transfers occur, we will take reasonable measures required by applicable law to protect the relevant information.

Information processed in another country may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country under its laws.

11. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page and will take effect upon publication or on the effective date stated in the update.

If you continue to use the services after an update, you will be deemed to have been informed of and accepted the updated terms.

12. Contact

If you have any questions, feedback, or data requests regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us at [email protected].
